Our studio is located in historical downtown Chilliwack, B.C., an hour outside of Vancouver, in what was once Chilliwack’s first silent theater. The building has a lot of history; my favorite being that it was the meeting place of the Suffragettes who were the first women to fight for the right to vote. I just love that women were empowered in this space long before I came along and I feel so privileged & inspired to be able to work here and share it with others.
My favorite features of the studio are the original tin ceilings and hardwood floors. I’ve created various areas within the studio including a beautiful dressing room, a small kitchen, a lounge, a viewing area & private rooms with a variety of sets. I’m in the process of renovating the upstairs for a private natural light studio as well..
