Q: Where are the Beautiful Woman sessions done?
A: We have a gorgeous luxury boudoir studio located in historical downtown Chilliwack, BC; a growing district that offers great shopping, eateries and entertainment all within walking distance of the studio. There is also the newly renovated Coast Hotel within walking distance of our studio for our out of town clients.
Q: Do you shoot on location?
A: Our clients come from far and wide to experience a session in our studio. We can shoot outdoors in and around Chilliwack, however we are too busy to do out of town sessions but feel free to send me a message letting me know where you are. I may be able to work it into my vacation plans.
Q: Are the women on your website models?
A: Absolutely not! We specialize in making women look and feel beautiful at any stage of their life; our clients range in age from 22 to 59!
Q: What is the cost?
A: This is an investment in clothing, hair & make-up preparations as well as the time and talent of the photographer who specializes in making you feel safe, secure and more beautiful than you have ever felt in your life. You’ll want to make sure you have budgeted enough to purchase an album and display your photos with the honour they deserve. Our clients budget $600 up to $2500 for the entire process. YOU are worth it!
Q: Do my images have to be used on your website?
A: Your privacy is important to us and we do not post your images online however we are more than thrilled if you give us permission to use your images on our website, so please let us know if you are okay with this.
Q: What about nudity?
A: While we are not opposed to artistic nudes the Beautiful Woman Project has a certain “look” and for that reason we do not do nudity or provocative posing. We do however photograph an “implied nude” which gives the illusion of nudity while being covered in all the right places!
Q: Will my photos be retouched?
A: We do retouching on all images where required. For the most part the lighting, make-up, posing and camera techniques give us excellent results! We like to keep it real and keep retouching to a minimum for a natural effect. Any retouching is done as part of the process and there is no additional charge.
Q: How and when will I see my images?
A: We will set up a viewing session at the studio within 10 days of your shoot. We’ll have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and take the time to go through your images and help you choose your favorites. We do not push sales but we can’t guarantee that you won’t love all of your images! If you are on a budget, we respect that and will help you stay within it, however there is a $350 minimum order requirement on all sessions.
Q: I’m from out of town, how can I view my images?
A: We can provide you with an online gallery with a deposit of $350 against your order. If you need help with your selections we are happy to schedule a phone date to help you decide.
Q: Do you sell the digital images?
A: The quality of a print from a consumer lab will not give you the same result as a professionally printed image and for that reason we do not sell the digital images up front. We want you to have something in your hot little hands that looks amazing. With that being said we do give our clients the option to purchase the digital files as an add on to an album.
Q: Do I need to have professional make-up?
A: Having your hair and makeup done professionally is the most essential contribution to your shoot that you can make. Not only does the makeup artist & hair stylist make you look gorgeous, it is the process of being beautified, being catered to and pampered that gets your mind and body ready for your special shoot and is part of the experience.
Q: Who does hair and make-up and what is the cost?
A: We have amazing artists that provide hair and make-up services at the studio upon request. Make-up is $66 and hair & make-up is $120 payable directly to the make-up artist via cash or cheque.
Q: Can I do my own make-up?
A: Having make-up done in studio is part of the experience however it is not mandatory & we will give you tips on the make-up requirements for our lighting that is your preference.
Q: Do you provide outfits?
A: We have a selection of lingerie, shoes and accessories to compliment your outfits. Most of our girls will bring a several outfits including, lingerie, dresses, t-shirts, shoes & accessories. This gives us lots of options.
